The concept, design and styling of this collection tells a simple yet non-linear story; one of femininity, resilience and uninhibited self-expression. Episode 1 balances the uninhibited joy of living in the moment with the quiet comfort of nostalgia The silhouettes of Episode 1 draw inspiration from a blend of womenswear style from the 20th Century. The art-deco movement informed the feminine bias cuts of the dresses, whilst more masculine elements define the coats and jackets. This collection is representative of the wabi-sabi attitude to life. The asymmetry of the silhouettes embrace ‘wabi’ - challenging the conventional perceptions of beautiful clothes. Meanwhile we are committed to ‘sabi’ and
inspired by longevity and believe that the pieces of our debut episode will only become more beautiful year after year. Sustainably made fusing English wool and Chinese silk, the pieces of this collection stand the test of time.
